Recently, there has been much talk about violence and the fear of its increase according to domestic violence statistics. This should decrease with the advancement of science and technology and the availability of many anger management techniques. Despite the increasing global demand for calming and antidepressant medications, which are supposed to reduce reactions in individuals who take them.

There are many types of violence. For example, when we talk about domestic violence, there is physical violence, which is expressed by hitting. There is verbal violence, which includes speaking, cursing, and insulting. There is also psychological violence, which involves psychologically pressuring the spouse and child in various ways. Due to the increasing rates of violence, many awareness campaigns have been launched to undertake projects to reduce it through various methods:

– Lectures to talk about the effects of violence, prevention of violence, and dealing with violence.

– Providing support for victims (legally, financially, and socially).

– Encouraging and urging the enactment of a law protecting against domestic violence in the country’s constitution (most recently in Lebanon after the TV series “Aa Amal” aired, which addresses this problem, and through it, a member of parliament began working on legislation to protect against domestic violence).

Regarding the topic of violence, going back to the teachings and studies of Dr. Nada, we will learn that violence is always associated with what is inside the person and what experiences, beliefs, and ideas have been ingrained in them since childhood and translated in this way after growing up.

For example, the abused girl who runs away from her family by marrying the first person who proposes to her and then is surprised after marrying that her husband is also abusive and beats her or humiliates her or…

She has to look inside herself for the reason that makes her create in her reality the unjust, violent man. And she should examine her fears of injustice and its definition. In some cases that Dr. Nada followed, it turned out that there is a woman who is subjected to violence because she loves to play the role of the victim in a frightening way, and she was attracting violent men, managers, and friends.

Therefore, the causes of violence can have many options, and before starting to treat it, we must assess it, know its causes, and then start working on solutions for it, whether legal, therapeutic, or social.

Dr. Nada has produced many YouTube videos explaining the importance of returning to the inner self and the dark side within each of us.
